Essentials 5

INFORMATICS AND HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGIES

This area is where the most ground was gained during my time in the PMHNP program at King.  Technology will progress and make healthcare better.  As an up-and-coming provider, it is important to remain open to learning new techniques to provide information to staff and patients.  Informatics will increase the information about patient outcomes and safety to help all to become better providers.

Group Wix Project

This is a group project done with Lisa Kruger and Rachelle Lindholm to discuss Covid and depression.  There is great information on virtual access for those in rural areas.

My First YouTube Video

This is the first YouTube video that I ever made.  I did have to FaceTime my 12-year-old grandson to help learn to do this task.  By the end of the 5th semester, I had become a pro.

My Final YouTube Video

This is my final clinical video journal that had to be posted on YouTube.  I was able to complete this one on my own and I am so proud that I learned how to post videos.

New Healthcare Technology

This paper was written in the beginning of the program.  Technology has come a long way in such a short time.  The things discussed in the paper were observed before I left my position with Covenant.

Multiple Sclerosis PowerPoint

I became very capable of designing PowerPoints for different assignments.  This PowerPoint was personal as my oldest daughter had just been diagnosed with MS.  I took the opportunity to educate myself while developing this lesson.

Typhon Case Log Totals

We all learned how to document our case loads and keep up with clinical.
